Description

A collection of six one act plays bringing history alive through drama. History is viewed through the eyes of ordinary people and each play is packed with details about everyday life, important events and developments of the period.

The plays can be used as classroom drama, for school performance and group acting examinations and can also be used as shared texts for the literacy hour. A glossary of key words helps to develop children’s historical understanding of National Curriculum History Topics and the plays provide opportunities for children to enjoy role-play and performance.
